This Wasn’t Supposed to Be a Bookshop
Inkbound didn’t begin with products. It began with frustration.
Extraordinary stories were being overlooked. Independent authors were being told to wait for permission. Readers were being offered the same books, from the same systems, again and again.
We knew there was more.
The first Inkbound Bookshop gave that idea a physical home in Gort. Now, Inkbound is growing beyond a single shopfront — taking those same books, stories and values online, on the road, and into more reader spaces.

Where Inkbound Is Going
Inkbound is moving into an online-first and mobile future.
Our books will continue to be fulfilled from Gort, while our mobile bookshop brings independent stories directly to readers at markets, signings, festivals, expos and events across Ireland.
Future plans stretch further too, with UK and mainland European events on the horizon and the development of Inkbound USA.

Why Inkbound Exists
Because independent authors deserve infrastructure.
Because readers deserve genuine discovery.
Because belonging should exist somewhere real.
And because independent stories should be able to travel further than the system expected them to.
